It's a truly intense and emotional experience to listen to this album. Moe-Repstad's voice is so high in the mix that he gets inside your head. I personally am very much about the music when I listen. I'm usually not that interested in lyrics as part of music. Or at least it is very secondary to the music itself. But Moe-Repstad demands attention and it is impossible to stay neutral to the lyrics

Nils Christian Moe-Repstad is a poet who will be familiar to fans of the Punkt Festival in Kristiansand, Norway.


He did a performance called "Manifest" with Jan Bang and Erik Honoré as the opening act at Punkt 2005, and at Punkt 2007 he and Honoré performed the live remix of a concert by Trio Mediæval.


As a lyricist he was a central participant in creating the album "Going Nine Ways From Wednesday" (Pan M, 2001), his first album collaboration with Jan Bang and Erik Honoré, with Anne Marie Almedal on vocals. His poems, together with Paal-Helge Haugen's, were the foundation of the critically acclaimed album "Uncommon Deities" (Samadhisound, 2012), released in David Sylvian's name, but with Bang and Honoré as main architects.
